Online meeting within the framework of the IAEA project aimed at research of Caspian and Aral Seas

Within the frame of the project IAEA RER7015 – «Improvement of Management of Shore Lands of Mediterranean, Black, Caspian and Aral Seas Using Nuclear Methods of Analysis» an online meeting took place on the 11th of February of this year. A.K. Aidarkhanova, Head of the Laboratory for Experimental Researches of Transfer Mechanisms of the Department for Development of Environmental Monitoring Systems took part in this meeting. The main issues considered within the frame of the event were development and improvement of quality management system for the environmental researches, quality control of the laboratory analyses conducted, assessment of uncertainties of results, requirements for the testing laboratories according to ISO/IEC 17025 «General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories». The possibility of research of water ecosystem of Caspian and Aral Seas was also considered within the frame of this project.
