Isotope Hydrology training course

May 26 through 30, 2025, isotope hydrology training course is being held in Dushanbe city (Tajikistan) at the “Agency for Chemical, Biological, Radiation and Nuclear Safety of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan”. The course is organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) as part of the RER7017 project – “Ensuring the availability of water sources in a climate change”. Employees from the branch “Institute of Radiation Safety and Ecology” of the RSE NNC RK, Department of Monitoring and Environmental Analysis are participating in this important educational event: A. Mamyrbayeva, a Chief of the Laboratory of Experimental and Environmental Research, and A. Nadeeva, Engineer of the Experimental Research Group. The course is devoted to topical issues of the application of isotope techniques in hydrology, which is of great importance for studying water sources, assessing their origin, migration and interaction with the environment. The gained knowledge and skills will allow our specialists to apply advanced isotope techniques in their work, contributing to a deeper understanding of hydrological processes and improving the quality of research.
