IRSE NNC RK staff visited the Belarusian State University

May 22 through 27, 2025, as part of scientific and technical activities, employees from the IRSE NNC RK L. Timonova and T. Bogatyreva visited the Sakharov International State Ecological Institute of the Belarusian State University in Minsk city, Belarus. The visit included participation in the 25th anniversary International Scientific Conference “Sakharov Readings 2025: Environmental Problems of the XXI Century”. In the section “Radioecology and radiation biology, nuclear and medical technologies”, the staff spoke on “Redistribution of tritium in environmental objects in the Semipalatinsk Test Site area” and “Assessment of the current state of the aquatic environment in the former Semipalatinsk Test Site area”. The visit ended with a scientific training on the sharing of experience in the field of determination of natural and artificial radionuclides in environmental objects.
