Participation in IV International scientific forum ‘Nuclear Science and Technologies’

September 26 through 30, 2022 IV scientific forum ‘Nuclear Science and Technologies’ was held at the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Almaty c. The forum was dedicated to the 65^th anniversary of INP ME of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This scientific event was attended by 10 staff members from the branch ‘Institute of Radiation Safety and Ecology’ RSE NNC RK both online and offline. 2 papers were presented online by Ye. Polivkina and D. Turchenko, and poster papers were presented by O. Marchenko, R. Yermakova and T. Toktaganov. Zh. Zhapasheva, A. Toporova and Yu. Baklanova presented their papers in the section ‘Radiation Ecology and Analysis Techniques’. The section covered radioecological research into the former nuclear test sites, risk assessment and dosimetry issues; technologies to reduce environmental risk at radioactively hazardous objects and in areas, radioactive waste management and analytical techniques in scientific applied research and nuclear forensics. The forum also addressed such fields as radiation physics; radiation solid-state physics and material science problems; nuclear energy; nuclear and radiation technologies in medicine, industry and agriculture сельском хозяйстве.
