«Practical Skills in Assessment of Measurement Uncertainty of Thermoluminescent Dosimeters and Radiation Output» training workshop that was conducted on the 10th of March

As per established practice, the employees of the Branch «Institute of Radiation Safety and Ecology» of the NNC RK, who took further education course, share the gained knowledge with their colleagues. This time, engineers A. Toporova and R. Rolanuly, trained in «Republican Academy of Technical Regulation, Standardization, Certification and Metrology» LLP (Nur-Sultan city), arranged «Practical Skills in Assessment of Measurement Uncertainty of Thermoluminescent Dosimeters and Radiation Output» training workshop that was conducted on the 10th of March, 2020. The attendees of the workshop were shown how to calculate the uncertainty, use the results correctly for continuous improvement of the tests of results and activities of the laboratories; fulfill general requirements and recommendations, established in assessment of measurement uncertainties for verification, calibration and testing laboratories, in calculations, given the basic provisions and technical requirements as required by standards. All those wishing attended the event. The training was hosted by the certified Testing center.
