RAP 2025

May 26 through 30, 2025, the Hellenic Center for Marine Research in Gournes t. hosts the RAP 2025 (Radiation application 2025) international conference. The conference is attended by scientists and specialists from 40 countries (Israel, Poland, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Japan, Serbia, Germany, France, etc.). The conference areas cover various fields of physics, chemistry, biology, medical sciences, engineering, and environmental sciences. The reports of the staff from the National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan include the findings on the radioecological hazard of organically bound tritium, the content of artificial radionuclides in vegetation during monitoring of nuclear fuel cycle facilities. In addition, the findings on the assessment of the consequences of uranium mines development in Kazakhstan and radioecological risks for large ungulates living in Semipalatinsk Test Site area are presented.
