June 15 through 19, 2026, a head of the Department for Monitoring, Ecological and Analytical Research from the branch office ‘IRSE’ NNC RK Ms A.K. Aidarkhanova paid a scientific visit to the laboratory of isotope hydrology of the Glacier Research Center of the Tadzhikistan National Academy of Sciences in Dushanbe city. The visit took place within the scope of IAEA’s Project RER7017 ‘Provision of availability of water resources under changing climatic conditions’.
The scientific visit aimed to study the international experience in applying isotope hydrology for aquatic ecosystems and glaciers, to evaluate water quality and develop a regional cooperation for the sustainable management of transboundary water resources.
