On the eve of the International Day against Nuclear Tests, the National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan invites everyone to visit the exhibition hall of the history of the Semipalatinsk test site on August 27, 2025.

Program:
Visitors to the exhibition hall will learn about one of the most controversial yet undoubtedly vivid pages in national history. The exhibition details:
- the main stages of the creation and development of the test site,
- the specifics of conducting nuclear tests,
- the life and work of the outstanding experimental physicist Igor Kurchatov and other prominent nuclear physicists.
The exhibition hall displays various measuring instruments, original reports from the 1950s, mock-ups, and photographs from the period of the test site’s operation.
Tour schedule:
- 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. — in Kazakh
- 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 o’clock — in Russian
- 03:00 p.m. – 04:00 p.m. — in English
Important:
Anyone wishing to attend must submit an application by:
- August 15, 2025 — for foreign citizens,
- August 20, 2025 — for citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan
The application must include full name, preferred visit time, and a copy of an identity document (to obtain access to the National Nuclear Center premises).
