General Information

The total number of adopted papers – 34, including:
  • To the contest – 26 pcs. (engineering research – 10, applied research – 16): IAE – 13, IRSE – 6, Kazatomprom – 4, IGR – 2, INP – 1;
  • Non-competitive papers – 8 pcs. (fundamental research – 3, engineering-technical research – 1; applied research – 4): NJSC “Semey Shakarim University” – 7; NJSC “East Kazakhstan University named after S. Amanzholov” – 1.
Time limit for statements by contestants (considering Q&A) – 20 min. attended The working languages of the conference-contest are Kazakh and Russian.

Work Schedule

  • May 21, Wednesday – registration, opening, presentation papers by contestants
  • May 22, Thursday – contestants’ reports
  • May 23, Friday – contest completion, concluding, technical tours

Crucial Deadlines

June 23, Monday – reception of articles recommended for publishing in “NNC Bulletin” (according to the journal requirements)

Criteria for Determining Winners

Winners are determined based on the following criteria, evaluated on a 5-point scale:
  • Relevance;
  • Practical value (significance for the problem to which the paper is dedicated);
  • Scientific and engineering level, originality, novelty of findings;
  • Degree of paper completion;
  • Personal contribution by the contestant;
  • Style of presentation and knowledge.
Additional assessment criteria, considering the specificity of directions:
  • Fundamental studies – publication level;
  • Engineering-technical studies – development of technical solutions;
  • Applied studies – competitiveness.
The winner is selected based on the total points accumulated from all jury members, summed to determine the winner.

Amount of Bonus Payments and Nominations

Number of prizes and cash rewards: 290 monthly notional units
  • One first place reward – 55 monthly notional units;
  • Two second place rewards – 35 monthly notional units each;
  • Three third place rewards – 27 monthly notional units each;
  • Four incentive mentions – 18 monthly notional units each, in the following nominations:
    • Best speaker;
    • Best thesis preparation;
    • Paper originality;
    • Active contestant;
  • One reward for innovative work – 12 monthly notional units.
Each participant receives a certificate of participation in the conference-contest. Those recognized with prizes are presented with diplomas. All participants are requested to prepare presentations of their reports and submit them via email in ppt, pptx, or pdf format to budanova@nnc.kz by May 15, 2025.
