June 15 through 19, 2026, XIV International scientific conference RAD 2026 – International conference of radiation, natural sciences, medicine, engineering, technology and ecology is held in the Herceg Novi city (Montenegro). The staff members of the RSE NNC RK traditionally participate in this conference. This year, it is attended by the staff members from the Department for Radioecological and Biodosimetric Research of the branch office ‘Institute of Radiation Safety and Ecology’ – Ms A. Ye. Kunduzbayeva and Ms T.K. Mussatayeva. At the conference, findings obtained under grant funding by the MSHE RK are presented on the speciation of artificial radionuclides in soils of the steppe zone of the Republic of Kazakhstan and features of the vertical distribution of the speciation of artificial radionuclides in soils of the test location of radiological warfare agents. More than 180 scientists and specialists from different countries are involved in the conference who deliver their presentations on the lines of research in environmental radioactivity and radiation protection, natural sciences, medicine, engineering, technologies and ecology. The RAD 2026 conference is an efficient platform to share scientific experience, ideas, develop international cooperation and establish new professional contacts.
