Congratulations on the academic title awarded!

By the order of the chairperson of the Education Quality Committee under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of RK No. 1081 dated 11/19/2024, an academic title – associated professor, was awarded to the biodosimetric laboratory chief of the branch office «Institute of Radiation Safety and Ecology» of RSE NNC RK Laura B. Kenzhina under scientific line 30300 – Health Science.

Ms. Kenzhina has a 25-year expertise, of which 18 years were dedicated scientific research. Her scientific progress began with the defense of a thesis in 2005, based upon which she was awarded the academic degree of the Candidate of Medical Sciences majoring in «Radiobiology». Since 2015, Laura has been employed by the Institute of Radiation Safety and Ecology, at which a focus area of cytogenetic biological dosimetry is proactively advancing under her guidance.
