November 24 through 29, 2024, the 6th International Conference on Radioecology and Environmental Radioactivity (ICRER 2024) was held in Marseille (France). The conference was attended by scientists and specialists in the field of radiation physics, chemistry, medicine, biology and ecology from around the world.
The reports of the participants covered a wide range of fields related to climate change, environmental monitoring, assessment of human and environmental radiation doses, modeling of radionuclide transport and the development of radioecology using artificial intelligence, as well as the latest achievements in the field of radioactive waste management and new developments in the field of measurement and metrology.
The results of scientific research by the staff of the RSE NNC RK were presented in the section «Understanding and modeling the mobility and bioavailability of radionuclides in the environment».
